Ranktracker Responds to Google’s SERP Changes: Top 30 Results, Lowest Prices in the Industry, and a New Platform Coming Soon

Intro

Google’s removal of the &num=100 parameter has disrupted the entire SEO industry. For years, this feature allowed rank tracking platforms to pull the top 100 search results in a single request. Without it, data collection now requires 10× more requests and significantly higher costs, forcing many platforms to scale back or even shut down temporarily.

Reports from Seroundtable confirm that the change is permanent, with many rank tracking tools broken or severely limited and Google Search Console data showing erratic reporting.

At Ranktracker, we’ve adapted quickly to keep our users ahead — offering more SERP coverage at the lowest prices in the industry.

Ranktracker Covers More Results Than Anyone Else Right Now

When this change first hit, Ranktracker continued tracking the full Top 100 results (10 pages) to minimize disruption. But with Google’s update multiplying data requests and costs by 10×, maintaining that depth became unsustainable for the entire industry.

Starting September 17, 2025 10am CET, Ranktracker will officially track the Top 30 results (Top 3 pages) by default — more depth than any other major rank tracking platform right now, as most competitors have reduced tracking to just 1–2 pages or less.

This ensures Ranktracker users continue to get:

  • Comprehensive SERP insights across the first 3 pages.

  • Accurate, reliable ranking data while others scale back.

  • Affordable rank tracking despite industry-wide cost increases.

While others cut features, raise prices, or stop working altogether, Ranktracker remains committed to giving SEO professionals more data for less money.

A Completely Rebuilt Ranktracker Is Almost Ready

Since January 2024, we’ve been working full-time on a completely rebuilt Ranktracker platform, designed to give you total control over SERP depth, tracking frequency, and cost efficiency.

The upcoming platform will let you:

  • Choose exactly how many pages deep you want to track.

  • Set custom tracking schedules: daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, paused, or even on-demand checks when needed.

  • Scale beyond 3 pages as soon as it becomes technically and economically feasible.

This isn’t just an update — it’s a major evolution of Ranktracker built for the future of SEO.

Conclusion: Ranktracker Leads Where Others Struggle

While competitors scale back to 1–2 pages or stop working entirely, Ranktracker continues to deliver deeper SERP data, accurate rankings, and the lowest prices in the industry.
